We offer the following clinics:
Community Dietician
Nicky Yarwood, a community dietician runs monthly clinics, advising patients on weight loss, healthy eating, allergies and more. Please enquire with your GP for more information and possible referral.
Baby Clinic
Monday 2pm. The baby clinics are run by the health visitors for child development checks. The clinic also allows an opportunity to discuss problems such as sleeping, feeding and child health worries.
Immunisations Clinics run seperately on Wednesday mornings. You will automatically receive an invitation for your child's immunisations from the Child Health Department when they become due.
Respiratory Clinic
Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings
This clinic is run by Sue Sinclair-Smith, one of our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. You will automatically be called to this clinic when your review becomes due. Please inquire for details.
Diabetic Clinic
Monday afternoon, Tuesdays all day and Wednesday morning
This clinic is run by Diane Craig, one of our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. You will automatically be called to this clinic when your review becomes due.Please inquire for details.
Minor Surgery
The GPs carry out a variety of minor surgical procedures in conjunction with the practice nurses, by appointment. Your doctor will be happy to advise you further on this. Please note, some cosmetic procedures may incur a charge.
Non-NHS Examinations
The GPs are happy to carry out medicals eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment and ask about the charges for these services, which are not covered by the NHS.
Heart Disease Clinic
Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning and afternoon and Wednesday morning
This clinic is run by Diane Craig, one of our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. You will automatically be called to this clinic when your review becomes due. Please inquire for details.
Elderly Patients
If you are aged over 65 years why not join our Meadowlarks group for gentle exercise, discussion and social contact? Telephone Sue Stephens on 724582 to discuss joining.
Travel Vaccinations
The surgery is an authorized Yellow Fever Centre as well as being able to offer other travel vaccinations. Please make an appointment well in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover.

Flu Vaccinations
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and residential homes. Please contact our receptionist in October for details of our vaccination clinic dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery through infirmity, we can arrange a home visit.
