If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to telephone the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This discussion will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
It is important to have this initial discussion as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as at least one appointment will be required with the practice nurse to receive the vaccinations. Some travel vaccines are chargeable to you, the patient, and some are free of charge. The Practice nurse will be able to advise you if any charges are payable.
