Nurses
Our practice nurses can be seen by appointment and offer a variety of services including injections, dressings, blood pressure checks, travel advice/vaccinations, removal of stitches, cervical smears and taking blood. They also work closely with the GPs in managing chronic illnesses including asthma, heart disease and diabetes - see Clinics for further details. The nurses are assisted by our healthcare assistants Jackey Collins and Jacquie Creed.

Administration
Our secretarial team comprises a Referrals Secretary, Prescriptions Secretary and a number of Patient-Facing Secretaries who will be able to help with all other enquiries.
Reception
Our reception team consist of trained Patient Advisors who can signpost your call, book appointments, answer general queries and liaise with other agencies.
Community Midwives
Our community midwife provides regular Antenatal care from the surgery.
Community Nurses
The district nurses are now based at Amersham Hospital and provide care for patients in their own home. If you wish to speak to the District Nursing Team please call the Chiltern Integrated Care Team on 01494 734724.
Health Visitors
Our health visitors are nurses with obstetric or midwifery experience and one-year health visitor training. They are based at Amersham Hospital and work with the doctors, district nurses and the midwife. The health visitors are involved with teaching individuals and groups about various aspects of health. They hold antenatal and postnatal classes, fathers' evenings and mother and baby group meetings regularly. Please contact the health visitors for details on 01494 433112.
