Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1300 on Wednesday 20 January. We will re-open on Thursday as usual. If you require medical advice please call 111 or for urgent medical help please call 999.
Please do not request a longer or larger prescription than usual because of concerns over COVID-19.
We continue to prescribe in line with national guidance.
We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically. Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money. Read more about EPS on the NHS website
PLEASE NOTE: FROM AUGUST 2018 YOU CANNOT ORDER YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTION FROM THE PHARMACY. Please order your repeat prescription via this website or bring your slip to Reception. The surgery will NOT accept repeat requests via the telephone. Please see the Patient information leaflet
Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Requests for prescriptions should be made in writing or by using the interactive facility on this website. We are unable to take orders or issue repeat prescriptions over the telephone in order to avoid mistakes occurring. Your prescription will be ready within 48 hours. If you prefer, we can arrange for your prescription to be sent to a local chemist. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TELL US WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT YOUR PRESCRIPTION FROM EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A REQUEST. The following local chemists collect from our surgery daily: -
- Boots (Amersham)
- Collins & Jervie
- Hobbs (formerly Lloyds)
Electronic Prescription Service
