The GP saw me on the same day, listened to my history and symptoms and referred me on. Unfortunately subsequently I did not get a resolution despite following her advice but that was not her fault. There are a myriad of routes into appropriate healthcare. Unfortunately even if the patient assiduously follows all advice it seems I chose the wrong route. Please present the correct actions the patient should take to avoid frustration and waste of time and a feeling that the patient is trying to get something they are not entitled to.
